Its stem branches upward from the base, and the leaves are lanceolate or bar-shaped. The inflorescence is corymbose, the flowers are small and slightly fragrant, and the petals are white. The fruits are short ellipsoid, glabrous or less hairy. The flowering period is in March-April in the greenhouse and in June-July in the open ground. The sweet alyssum has a robust temperament, can withstand mild frost, likes cool climates and dislikes heat, likes sunlight and can tolerate slight shade, and prefers loose, dry and poor soil. The main way of reproduction is seed propagation. The special aroma of the sweet alyssum has a repellent effect. It is a good nectar plant and also a good ornamental flower.
