Variety characteristics:

• W1394 Tianxin is an early, indeterminate tomato variety producing round to slightly flattened fruits that mature to a dark red or reddish-brown color. Individual tomatoes typically weigh approximately 5.3 oz (150 g). The soft, juicy flesh offers a balanced sweet-tart tomato flavor and is best suited to fresh slicing, salads and other immediate kitchen uses. Vigorous vines require sturdy support throughout the growing season and may be trained to a single main stem where intensive pruning is preferred. Because the ripe fruits are relatively tender, they should be harvested and handled carefully.
