• W1381 Bai Fei is a distinctive determinate beefsteak tomato originating from a European farm collection. The medium-vigor plants naturally stop growing after forming their terminal flower clusters, producing a concentrated harvest of unusually colored slicing tomatoes.
Fruits vary naturally in size and shape, ranging from rounded and slightly flattened to irregularly lobed beefsteaks. They typically weigh approximately 5.3–10.6 oz and mature from pale ivory to creamy lemon yellow.
The delicate flesh is exceptionally juicy, with a soft, melting texture and a pleasantly sweet, aromatic tomato flavor. Fully ripe fruits have a tender consistency that is especially enjoyable when sliced and eaten fresh.
Bai Fei produces a moderate crop and is best appreciated as a specialty home-garden tomato rather than a commercial production variety.
