Variety characteristics:

• W1378 Artisan Pink Tiger is a striking indeterminate cocktail tomato producing elongated pear-shaped to mini-plum fruits with pointed tips. Each tomato develops a vivid pink to rosy-red background covered with irregular golden-yellow and orange stripes, making every fruit slightly different.
The attractive fruits typically weigh approximately 0.7–1.1 oz, with occasional larger fruits approaching 1.2 oz under favorable growing conditions. Their juicy flesh develops a tender, velvety-soft texture and a pleasantly sweet, aromatic tomato flavor. The delicate texture is especially enjoyable when the fruits are eaten freshly picked.
Vigorous indeterminate vines continue flowering and setting fruit throughout the growing season. Provide sturdy stakes, cages or trellising to support the plants and keep developing fruit clusters elevated. Regular harvesting at full color encourages continued fruit production.
The relatively tender fruits are best handled carefully and used soon after harvest. They are excellent for fresh snacking, salads, bruschetta, sandwiches, colorful platters and decorative garnishes, but are less suitable for extended storage or long-distance shipping.
