Variety characteristics:

• W1340 Profusion Double White Improved is an award-winning hybrid zinnia developed by Sakata Seed Corporation. This improved selection produces larger, fuller flowers with more petals and greater flower longevity than the original Profusion Double White. Pure white double blooms measuring approximately 2.6 inches across are carried abundantly above compact, mounded plants with vigorous basal branching. Under North American landscape conditions, plants generally reach about 14–18 inches tall and spread 20–24 inches wide. Earlier flowering, strong bloom production, exceptional uniformity, and a self-cleaning habit provide continuous color from late spring until frost. The vigorous plants offer excellent disease resistance and perform reliably in summer heat and relatively dry conditions. Ideal for sunny beds, borders, mass plantings, gallon containers, window boxes, and hanging baskets. Occasional variation in petal count or flower form may occur in seed-grown plants.
