Variety characteristics:
• W1306 Jiemei Four-Season Dwarf Suzhou Qing is a compact, upright bok choy with tender, smooth, deep-green oval leaves and thick, broad, bright-green petioles. Plants grow approximately 7.9 inches tall and spread about 11 inches, making them well suited to closely spaced garden beds and intensive plantings. This fast-growing selection is described as tolerant of heat, cold, and moist conditions, though seasonal timing remains important.Sowdirectly or start indoors and transplant; seedlings are typically about 15 days old at transplanting. Space plants approximately 8 inches apart in rows about 10 inches apart. Tender greens may begin to be harvested roughly 20 days after transplanting. For summer or persistently rainy conditions, use protected growing space. During cold-season direct sowing, thin promptly and harvest on time to help reduce premature bolting. The crisp, mild greens and succulent petioles are excellent for stir-fries, soups, noodle dishes, and fresh harvests.
