U2691 Huangbaitian Jiaozhou F1 is a midseason napa cabbage hybrid producing large, closed heads with a compact, bullet-shaped form and a relatively flat top. Semi-upright plants typically reach approximately 15 inches tall and spread about 11 inches. The yellow-green outer leaves surround tender yellow inner leaves with thin white midribs. Under suitable fall growing conditions, heads generally mature in approximately 65 days and may weigh about 6.6–8.8 lb, depending on spacing, climate and crop management. The crisp, mildly sweet leaves are suitable for stir-fries, soups, dumpling fillings, pickling and fresh slaws.
