U2682 Chengyu is a mid-to-late-season cauliflower variety producing large, loosely structured heads with a vivid golden-orange surface and pale green to creamy-white inner branches. The semi-spreading plants develop deep-green foliage and medium-to-long curd stems. Under suitable cool-season conditions, harvest typically begins approximately 100 days after transplanting. Individual heads may weigh about 3.3 lb (1.5 kg), depending on climate, spacing and crop management. The curds offer a crisp, tender texture with a pleasantly mild, sweet flavor. Their characteristic orange color develops without routinely folding leaves over the heads.
