U2680 Ziyang Purple Cauliflower produces rounded, semi-loose heads with a bright-purple surface and medium-length, pale green to creamy-white inner branches. The vigorous plants develop large outer leaves that surround the forming heads. Under suitable fall growing conditions, harvest typically begins approximately 65–70 days after transplanting. Mature heads may weigh about 2.9 lb (1.3 kg), depending on climate, spacing and crop management. The curds have a crisp, tender texture suitable for roasting, steaming, stir-frying and colorful fresh preparations.
