- U2672 Red Star is an early-season indeterminate cherry tomato producing smooth, glossy red fruits on attractive, well-filled clusters. Individual tomatoes average approximately 0.7 oz and develop a round to slightly high-round shape. The vigorous vines continue forming fruit clusters throughout the growing season and benefit from sturdy staking, caging, or trellising. Fruits ripen from pale green through orange-red to a bright, even red.
- Fully mature tomatoes offer a juicy texture and a distinctly sweet-forward flavor with mild balancing acidity. Sweetness, flavor intensity, fruit size, and color may vary with sunlight, temperature, irrigation, maturity, and cultivation practices. Red Star is suited to supported garden production, greenhouse growing, high tunnels, and appropriately managed soilless systems. The compact red fruits are ideal for fresh snacking, salads, lunch boxes, garnishes, roasting, skewers, and colorful tomato displays.
