- U2670 Zidai Fragrant Pear is an indeterminate specialty cherry tomato producing glossy, richly colored fruits on attractive branching clusters. The smooth tomatoes average approximately 0.7 oz and range from oval to gently pear-shaped. As they mature, the fruits transition from green through bronze-red to deep russet, mahogany, and purple-brown tones. Subtle olive coloring may remain around the shoulders, adding depth to the polished exterior.
- Fully mature fruits offer a juicy texture, balanced sweet-tart flavor, and a pronounced tomato aroma. Fruit color, sweetness, and flavor intensity may vary with sunlight, temperature, irrigation, maturity, and local growing conditions. Moderately vigorous indeterminate vines continue forming clusters throughout the growing season and benefit from sturdy staking, caging, or trellising. The colorful fruits are well suited for fresh snacking, salads, lunch boxes, roasting, garnishes, and mixed tomato displays.
