Main characteristics of the variety:
- Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea) grows to 0.5–1 meter tall, with erect stems and terminal racemes. The corolla is bell-shaped, pinkish-white with dark brown spots on the inner side. It prefers sunlight and cool environments, tolerates partial shade, and is cold-tolerant and mildly drought-tolerant. It thrives in fertile, loose, moist, and well-drained soil. Foxgloves have unique flower shapes, making them excellent ornamental flowering plants. They can be planted in clumps or mass-planted in parks and garden green spaces, used in flower beds and borders, and also grown in containers for ornamental purposes. The entire plant contains cardiac glycosides and is poisonous; do not ingest any part of the plant.
