Variety Characteristics:

- The parsnip (Pastinaca sativa) is a biennial herbaceous plant of the genus Pastinaca under the Apiaceae family. It bears a thick, conical, brownish-yellow fleshy root, around 30 centimetres in length and approximately 10 centimetres in diameter at the crown, which is high in sugar and fat content. It is widely cultivated for human consumption, and can also serve as livestock fodder or raw material for wine brewing. Its fleshy taproots are ideal for making soups, boiling whole, or stir-frying. Young leaves blanched in hot water can be cooked as vegetables or mixed into salads. The parsnip favours cold and cool weather with strong cold resistance. The optimum temperature during its entire growth period ranges from 20℃ to 25℃, and the crop boasts strong adaptability.
