Variety Characteristics:
- Narrowleaf lavender is a perennial herb or small shrub belonging to the genus Lavandula of the Lamiaceae family, growing up to 40 cm tall. It is clump-forming and much-branched with aromatic foliage throughout. The leaves are alternate, shallowly and narrowly pinnately lobed, greyish-green with a delicate texture. It bears terminal spike inflorescences dotted with tiny blue-purple florets. This cultivar loves full sunlight, featuring high tolerance to heat, cold, drought and infertile soil. It cannot stand waterlogging and humid conditions, and grows best in well-drained soil. Suitable for mass planting in courtyards, roadsides, flower beds and herb gardens for landscape design, it can also be cultivated as potted plants or used as ornamental cut flowers.
