⚠ Note:
1. Battery Usage Guidelines:
- Use only Alkaline batteries (do not use carbon-zinc batteries) or rechargeable NiMH batteries.
- The solar panel functions only with rechargeable NiMH batteries.
- Do not use rechargeable NiCd batteries, as their insufficient voltage may prevent the valve from opening or fully operating.
- Without batteries installed, the timer will not operate solely on the solar panel.
2. Water Pressure Requirements:
The controller cannot be used with water tanks or non-pressurized water sources. A minimum water pressure of 1 bar (14 psi) is required for the solenoid valve to function properly. Insufficient pressure may result in the valve failing to open or only partially opening.
3. Low Battery Alert:
When the battery is low, the controller will not execute irrigation tasks. Please replace the batteries immediately with new batteries.
4. Automatic Mode Switch:
After manually stopping irrigation, the system will automatically switch back to programmed mode after approximately 10 seconds.
5. Key Operation During Use:
While the controller is running, only the 'OFF' button is functional. All other buttons are disabled to prevent accidental changes.
6. Frost Protection:
During winter, if the outdoor temperature drops below 0°C (32°F), move the controller indoors to prevent freezing and damage.
