Variety Characteristics:
- Hoya merrillii features plump, almond-shaped fleshy leaves with prominent veins. With sufficient light, the undersides of the leaves turn deep wine-red. It produces small apricot-yellow five-pointed star-shaped blooms that release a delicate fragrance at night. Once blooms fade, remove spent flowers but retain the pedicel; new blooms will emerge from the same pedicel the following year. Suitable for hanging baskets or trellis climbing.
