Variety Characteristics:
- Hoya balaensis bears smooth, oval, emerald-green leaves. Its umbels are neat, full and rounded, featuring yellow-green corollas alongside pink five-pointed star corona with prominent waxy texture. Once flowers wither, prune spent blooms while retaining the peduncles; new blossoms will emerge from these same peduncles in the next year. This hoya is ideal for hanging cultivation or climbing up stakes and poles.
