Main characteristics of the variety:
- Zoysia sinica Hance is a perennial grass of the Zoysia genus. It has creeping rhizomes, developed roots and fast-spreading stolons. The leaves are light green or grayish-green, 1–3 mm wide and up to 10 cm long. Adaptable to saline soil, drought and wet conditions, it enjoys sunlight and warmth with good cold hardiness. Resistant to trampling, resilient and disease-resistant, it is easy to maintain, long-lived and effective for soil stabilization. Widely used for sports turf and soil & water conservation. Coated seeds germinate in 7–10 days and fully establish in 50–60 days, with a relatively long green period.
