Longyou Erqiao (陇右二乔) is a unique hybrid variety, carefully selected through crossbreeding between Purple Spot Peony and Central Plains Peony varieties. This stunning variety features small leaf clusters with 15 leaflets. Its blooms are in a pom-pom shape, showcasing soft greenish-pink petals adorned with fine red streaks and deep maroon basal blotches. Encircled by a golden crown of stamens, the flower is an exquisite sight. The semi-enclosed white ovary chamber and yellowish-white stigma add a refined touch to this variety. Longyou Erqiao belongs to the Erqiao subgroup of the Purple Spot Peony varieties and has been awarded a new variety patent certificate by the State Forestry Administration of China.
