Main Characteristics of the Variety:

- Reflexed Stonecrop (Petrosedum rupestre) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the genus Sedum in the Crassulaceae family. It grows 15-25 cm tall, with creeping stems that are slightly lignified at the base. Adventitious roots are easily produced at the nodes, and the plant forms a slightly clumped growth habit. Its fleshy leaves are alternate and arranged in an imbricate pattern, linear to oblong or linear-oblanceolate in shape. The leaf surface is flat, the dorsal surface is slightly convex, and the apex is sharp and often curved. Covered with a white waxy powder, the leaves appear gray-green, and those on the twigs are arranged like spruce needles. It blooms from June to July, with erect scapes that droop when young, bearing terminal corymbose cymes. The sepals are yellow-green, and the petals are bright yellow and oblong. The flowering branches are firm and upright, and during the fruiting period, the carpels are erect and tan in color.

- It prefers sunlight and tolerates partial shade, with an optimal temperature range of 15-25°C. The above-ground parts can overwinter outdoors. It thrives in loose, well-drained sandy loam, with strong drought tolerance but is intolerant of waterlogging. In hot and humid environments, overcrowded planting can easily lead to leaf drop. Propagation is mainly by cuttings and division, and it is not tolerant of pruning. Due to its rapid growth, it can be used as a ground cover plant in slopes, rock gardens, and public green spaces, or potted for decorating windowsills and balconies. It is an excellent perennial flower with high ornamental value.
