- Baimian No.1 is a high-quality, insect-resistant, mid-maturing cotton variety. When sown in spring, its growth period is approximately 124 days. The emergence rate is moderate, and the seedlings are relatively weak in the early stage, with young stems light green in color. Throughout the growing period, the plants exhibit stable and robust growth, good uniformity, strong disease resistance, and no premature aging. The plant type is loose, with a height of 98–103 cm and few hairs on the stem. The leaves are medium to large in size, with distinct wrinkles and a light green color. Each plant bears about 16 bolls, which are oval in shape and open smoothly and uniformly. The single boll weight is approximately 6 grams, and the pre-frost boll opening rate ranges from 89.1% to 92.9%, demonstrating outstanding yield potential.
