Variety characteristics:

• 998 Eden Selection No. 9 F6 Tomato is a greenhouse-grown, mid-season F6 selection that is nearly stable but still in the stabilization stage, so some segregation may still occur. Plants grow as strong bush-type tomatoes reaching about 1.8 m under greenhouse conditions and show extremely high productivity for a large-fruited tomato. The fruits are spectacular, often around 700 g, with a highly flattened round beefsteak shape and beautiful striping over an emerald green base, developing deep red, red, and yellow tones as they mature. The sliced fruit is especially striking, with a vivid multicolor interior that makes it outstanding for fresh slicing and display. A very impressive large tomato with excellent overall performance and strong recommendation for serious tomato collectors and specialty growers.
