Variety characteristics:

• 972 Dennis Heart Tomato is a very new midseason tomato variety with tall, vigorous plants and beautiful heart-shaped fruits. Fruits usually weigh about 3.5-5.3 oz, or 100-150 g, and ripen to a glowing orange color with red blushes and distinctive purple patterning on the shoulders. Plants set attractive trusses with about 5-6 fruits each, giving the variety both productivity and strong visual appeal. When sliced, the fruit shows a lovely bi-color interior with golden-orange flesh and red-pink marbling. The flavor is sweet, fruity, and aromatic, making it excellent for fresh eating, colorful slicing, salads, and rare tomato collections.
