Variety characteristics:

• 971 Pink Scallop Tomato is a tall, midseason, high-yielding tomato variety with an extended fruiting period. The plants produce huge pink fruits with a bold, heavy 'bomb' shape, often approaching 2.2 lb, or nearly 1 kg. Fruits ripen to a beautiful rich pink color and develop dense, meaty flesh with very few seeds at maturity. This variety is especially well suited for fresh slicing and salads, where its large size, attractive color, and satisfying texture can really stand out. Productive, impressive, and full of garden presence, Pink Scallop is a memorable rare tomato for growers who love giant pink varieties.
