Variety characteristics:

• 953 Moonlight Lover Tomato is a very new indeterminate tomato variety with medium to large, slender heart-shaped fruits and a beautifully unusual color pattern. Fruits usually weigh about 5-10 oz, or 150-300 g. The skin is covered with green striping, and as the fruits ripen, a soft pink blush develops near the blossom end, creating a delicate moonlit pastel effect. Inside, the flesh can show a beautiful tri-color appearance, giving sliced fruits excellent visual appeal. Flavor is good and well suited for fresh eating, slicing, salads, and specialty tomato collections. Because this variety is very new, some variation may still occur, so growers should expect possible instability in fruit color or shape.
