Variety characteristics:

• 91 Purple Passion brings rich color and full tomato flavor to the summer harvest. This vigorous, indeterminate selection produces large, flattened beefsteaks weighing approximately 8.5–17.6 oz. The fruits ripen to a deep red-purple, with rounded to gently ribbed shoulders and substantial, juicy flesh. Their bold, fruity flavor makes thick slices especially appealing in sandwiches, salads, and fresh tomato platters. Some fruits may show green and purple marbling inside. Provide sturdy support for the heavy harvest.
