• 875 Big Rainbow Bicolor Tomato is a Minnesota heirloom tomato introduced by Dorothy Beiswenger. This indeterminate, regular-leaf variety develops large plants and produces heavy yields from midseason until frost. The fruits are large, flattened beefsteak types weighing about 7.1-14.1 oz, with rounded shoulders and light to moderate ribbing near the top. Flower clusters carry about 5-10 blossoms, usually setting 2-4 fruits per cluster. The fruit has a broad, deep stem cavity and attractive tricolor skin with yellow, red, and orange tones. The flesh is firm, meaty, and low in seeds, with the mild, sweet flavor typical of quality bicolor tomatoes. Excellent for slicing, sandwiches, salads, and heirloom tomato displays.
