87 Sart Roloise is a striking midseason indeterminate beefsteak tomato bred by Belgian grower Roland Boulanger of Sart-Eustache. Developed from a cross between White Wonder and Baby Blue, it combines creamy yellow fruit with dramatic indigo anthocyanin shoulders. Tall, slender, regular-leaf plants produce rounded to slightly flattened fruits weighing approximately 7.1–12.3 oz, with exceptional specimens reaching about 17.6 oz. The fruits may show gentle ribbing and mature to a luminous cream, pale yellow, or golden-yellow base covered with violet, indigo, and deep purple brushstrokes. Dense, firm, juicy flesh delivers sweet, fruity, and complex flavor with a refreshing level of acidity and subtle tropical notes. Provide sturdy staking or trellising for the tall vines and heavy beefsteak fruits. Excellent for fresh slicing, salads, sandwiches, tomato platters, sauces, and specialty market displays.
