• 820 Strawberry Heavyweight Tomato is a newer early-midseason variety with impressive fruit size and a beautiful heart shape finished with a slender pointed tip. Tall, vigorous plants set clusters of 4-6 large fruits, averaging about 12 oz and reaching up to 18 oz under good growing conditions. The tomatoes ripen to a rich raspberry-pink color with aromatic, sugary flesh and excellent flavor. Adapted from Siberian breeding, this variety is noted for good performance in challenging climates and reported tolerance to common tomato diseases. Recommended for greenhouse, high tunnel, protected culture, and open-ground growing where conditions allow.
