Variety characteristics:

• 780 Dwarf Tai Chi Tomato is a midseason dwarf tomato variety with very high productivity and exceptionally beautiful fruit color. Plants grow about 3 ft tall in the ground and usually stay under about 2 ft in containers. They should be tied or supported and benefit from moderate pruning. Fruits are elongated, about 2.75-3.5 in long, and weigh around 3.5 oz. The color is deep red with bold yellow striping, while the sun-exposed shoulder develops a rich purple-black anthocyanin blush. Flavor is excellent, dense, sweet, and juicy. This variety shows strong resistance to fungal diseases and viruses, but it may still segregate, so growers should purchase with that in mind.
