741 Moldovan Standard Tomato is a mid-season tall tomato selection developed by Zhegalin N.V., suitable for film tunnels, glass greenhouses, and open-field growing. It matures about 110 to 115 days from germination. Plants are strong and vigorous, reaching about 6.6 ft or taller, and are best grown with support, pruning, and a two-stem training system. The fruit is uniform, round, glossy, and rich raspberry-red, weighing about 4.9 to 5.3 oz. Its flesh is dense but not coarse, with thick meaty walls, a fragrant aroma, and very good classic tomato flavor. This variety is recommended for fresh eating and processing, with very high yield and continuous fruit set until frost.
