Variety characteristics:

• 70 Russian Green is a midseason tomato variety originating in Russia. Its round beefsteak fruits typically weigh 5.3–12.3 oz and are slightly flattened at both ends, with subtle ribbing near the stem. As they ripen, the green skin takes on an amber cast while the shoulders remain dark green. The juicy green flesh has a balanced, pleasing flavor. Productive plants can reach approximately 6.6 feet tall and bear fruits in clusters from midseason until frost. Provide sturdy support for the tall vines and developing fruit. Use the large, flavorful tomatoes for fresh slicing, sandwiches, and salads.
