690 King Blue Tomato is a delicious beefsteak tomato developed from a cross between Beauty King and P20, also known as OSU Blue. By 2022 it had reached the F6 generation, so it is nearly stable with only occasional off-types. Fruits weigh about 5.3 to 10.6 oz and develop orange skin with deep blue shoulders that become more intense in strong sun. When sliced open, the fruit reveals orange-yellow flesh with a pink center, creating a striking and unexpected appearance.
