• 635 Boloto, whose Russian name means 'Swamp,' is a distinctive Russian green-when-ripe tomato. The slightly flattened, beefsteak-type fruits have pronounced ribbing and typically weigh 5 to 9 oz. Under favorable greenhouse conditions, individual tomatoes may reach approximately 11.3 oz. Their unusual green skin develops amber, bronze, or pink blushes as the fruit ripens. The green-pink flesh is full, juicy, and pleasantly sweet with a mild, fruity flavor. Plants generally grow about 3.5 ft tall outdoors and up to 5 ft in a greenhouse.
