Variety characteristics:

• 627 Dwarf Mississippi Queen is a productive midseason tomato developed by American breeder Dean Slater. Compact dwarf plants grow approximately 20 to 31 in tall and produce substantial, slightly flattened fruits weighing about 7.1 to 8.8 oz. The tomatoes mature to deep wine-red or burgundy with pearlescent green striping and dark anthocyanin splashes across the shoulders and sides. Their richly colored, meaty flesh delivers a very sweet, complex tomato flavor with savory and lightly spicy notes. An excellent slicing variety for salads, sandwiches, and fresh tomato platters. Although the plants are compact, staking is recommended to support the heavy fruit load.
