6 Rebel Starfighter Prime is an early, vigorous indeterminate tomato developed by breeder Russ Crowe. The wispy-leaved vines can reach approximately 6 feet tall and begin maturing in about 70 days. Its elongated, tapered heart-shaped fruits typically weigh 3.5–7 oz and display a dramatic combination of deep purple, blue-black, green, and red tones. Strong sunlight intensifies the dark anthocyanin coloring across the shoulders. Inside, the fruits reveal rich burgundy-red flesh with a tangy, full-bodied tomato flavor and savory, old-fashioned umami notes. Provide sturdy staking or trellising and allow the fruits to develop their mature red-purple coloring before harvesting. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, and impressive tomato platters.
