Plants generally reach approximately 5 feet outdoors and may approach 6 feet in a greenhouse. The oval to softly heart-shaped saladette fruits weigh up to approximately 3.5 oz and ripen to a distinctive dusky pink, dark rose, or muted crimson color. Sun-exposed shoulders develop smoky violet-purple to nearly black anthocyanin pigmentation, creating a dramatic two-tone appearance. Inside, the dense yet juicy pink-red flesh offers a rich, classic tomato flavor with balanced sweetness and a pleasantly tangy finish. Strong plants commonly set clusters of five to seven fruits and perform well in garden beds, greenhouses, and large containers.
