Variety characteristics:

• 566 Rose Gold F5 is a beautiful early- to midseason breeding line developed by Russian tomato breeder Sofia Saakova from a cross between Chupa Chups and Apricot Confiture. Vigorous indeterminate plants grow approximately 5.5 to 6 feet tall and produce attractive, oblate to flattened-round fruits averaging about 10.6 oz. The tomatoes combine a golden yellow to warm apricot-orange base with extensive raspberry-pink and rose-red blushing. Sun-exposed shoulders may also develop a subtle smoky purple anthocyanin dusting. The juicy, meaty flesh offers pronounced sweetness, rich fruitiness, mild balancing acidity, and a pleasantly lingering finish. This F5 generation has shown good uniformity but may still segregate, so individual plants can vary in fruit color, pattern, shape, and size. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, tomato platters, juice, and colorful sauces.
