• 547 Datterino Nero is a productive Italian date-shaped tomato bearing compact clusters of dark red-brown fruits with subtle green to olive striping. The uniform, elongated fruits measure approximately 1.2 to 1.6 in. long and weigh about 0.4 to 0.9 oz, ending in a tiny pointed tip. Juicy, firm red flesh and two seed cavities provide a satisfying texture, while the flavor is deeply sweet, fruity, aromatic, and balanced by just a touch of acidity. Vigorous indeterminate vines may reach approximately 6.5 ft and continue producing abundant clusters over a long harvest season.
