534 Green Sugar is a Russian green-when-ripe slicing tomato developed through SeDeK. Medium-height indeterminate plants reach approximately 3.9 to 4.9 ft and produce over an extended harvest period. The smooth, flattened fruits ripen to a soft yellow-green color and weigh approximately 7.1 to 10.6 oz. Each cluster commonly carries three to five tomatoes. The substantial flesh is meaty, juicy, and sweet, with mild acidity and pleasant fruity notes. Plants perform in garden beds or protected greenhouse conditions and are best trained to two main stems with sturdy support. Excellent for fresh slicing, salads, sandwiches, chilled soups, green salsa, and mild green tomato juice.
