• 529 Yellow Datterini is a highly productive Italian grape tomato known for its exceptionally sweet flavor and compact date-like shape. Vigorous indeterminate vines produce long hanging clusters of small, elongated fruits that ripen successively rather than all at once. Tomatoes commonly weigh approximately 0.35 to 0.7 oz and mature to a brilliant golden yellow or warm yellow-orange. The relatively thick skin surrounds dense, meaty flesh with small seed cavities, abundant sweetness, concentrated tomato flavor, and an inviting fruity aroma. Excellent straight from the vine, Yellow Datterini is traditionally suited to bruschetta, salads, appetizers, roasting, drying, canning, and intensely flavored golden tomato sauce.
