Variety characteristics:

• 445 Green Tulip is an extraordinary midseason collector tomato producing highly variable fruits weighing approximately 5.3 to 15.9 oz. Individual plants may bear elongated banana-shaped or bottle-shaped tomatoes as well as fuller irregular hearts and plump beefsteak forms. The fruits mature in a remarkable blend of emerald green, olive, gold, bronze, and rose pink, while their juicy interiors display dramatic green, yellow, coral, and red marbling. Tender, meaty flesh offers rich sweetness, balanced tomato flavor, and a complex fruity finish. Vigorous regular-leaf vines continue producing until the end of the season and require sturdy support. This line is not fully stable, so fruit shape, size, coloring, and interior marbling may vary between plants. Excellent for fresh slicing, salads, sandwiches, salsa, roasting, and showpiece tomato platters.
