Variety characteristics:

• 444 Hardin's Miniature is an exceptionally compact micro-dwarf tomato producing abundant clusters of elongated red grape fruits weighing approximately 0.35 to 0.53 oz. The smooth, glossy tomatoes measure about 1 to 1.5 inches long and often finish with a charming pointed blossom end. Juicy red flesh delivers a mild sweetness, balanced acidity, and satisfying classic tomato flavor. Determinate plants grow approximately 6 to 12 inches tall, branch freely, and carry fruit from the lowest stems to the top of the plant. This early variety begins ripening at around 65 days after transplant and performs beautifully in 1 US gallon containers, window boxes, indoor growing systems, balconies, and other limited spaces. With continued care, light pruning, and renewed feeding after the first harvest, healthy plants may produce a smaller second flush. Excellent for snacking, salads, garnishes, roasting, stews, pickling, and whole-fruit canning.
