Variety characteristics:

• 432 Pascal de Picardie is a productive anthocyanin paste tomato bearing elongated plum-shaped fruits weighing approximately 4.2 to 7.1 oz. The tomatoes mature to rich red, rose red, and deep crimson, while sun-exposed shoulders develop dramatic indigo-purple to nearly black pigmentation. Their smooth, gently curved bodies often finish with an attractive pointed blossom end. Dense, meaty flesh contains relatively little gel and few seeds, delivering pleasant sweetness, mild fruitiness, and rich, balanced tomato flavor. Vigorous regular-leaf indeterminate vines grow approximately 4.9 to 6.6 feet tall and continue producing until frost. Excellent for fresh slicing, drying, roasting, sauces, tomato paste, salsa, antipasti, canning, and pizza.
