• 430 Piennolo del Vesuvio Giallo is a traditional Italian storage tomato producing abundant clusters of golden-yellow, oval fruits weighing approximately 0.9 to 1.1 oz. Each firm tomato develops a characteristic pointed blossom end, thick meaty walls, relatively small seed cavities, and a lively sweet-savory flavor that becomes increasingly concentrated after harvest. The durable skin offers good crack tolerance and allows sound fruit clusters to remain on the vine or continue ripening in traditional hanging storage. Vigorous indeterminate plants provide an extended harvest in garden beds, greenhouses, and warm open-field conditions.
