• 429 Crimson from Zuzi is a productive mid- to late-season tomato bearing impressive heart-shaped fruits that commonly weigh approximately 5.3 to 10.6 oz, with exceptional specimens exceeding 2.2 lb. The smooth, broad hearts mature to a distinctive blend of deep crimson, dark cherry red, burgundy, and chocolate brown. Their dense scarlet-red flesh remains exceptionally tender and juicy, delivering pronounced sweetness, rich classic tomato character, and a long, satisfying finish. Vigorous indeterminate vines grow beyond 5.9 feet and require heavy-duty staking or trellising to support the largest fruits.
