• 42 Golden Hour is a remarkably productive micro-dwarf tomato developed from a cross between Brad's Atomic Grape and an unnamed micro-miniature variety. Compact, rugose regular-leaf plants generally remain approximately 10 to 16 inches tall, although plant height and growth habit may vary among seed lines. The chunky oval to short plum-shaped fruits commonly weigh approximately 0.7 to 1.1 oz and ripen to a brilliant golden yellow-orange. Many fruits develop attractive bronze, brown-purple, or smoky anthocyanin striping on sun-exposed areas, while others may mature to a mostly uniform golden orange. The firm, meaty yet tender flesh delivers excellent sweetness, light fruity notes, and a mild, well-balanced tomato flavor.
