Variety characteristics:

• Pistachio Giant is a midseason, green-when-ripe tomato producing large fruits weighing approximately 8.8–12.3 oz. The rounded to slightly flattened beefsteaks mature from medium green to warm pistachio green with golden undertones, while fully ripe fruits may develop a delicate pink blush near the blossom end. Inside, the juicy green flesh may show a pale yellow or pink center and delivers a sweet, aromatic flavor with refreshing tomato balance. Vigorous indeterminate vines grow approximately 5.9 feet tall and benefit from sturdy staking or trellising. Train the plants to two or three main stems where the growing season allows. Pistachio Giant is an excellent slicing tomato for sandwiches, salads, salsa, caprese, and colorful tomato platters.
