398 Glossy Rose Blue is a vigorous indeterminate tomato producing abundant clusters of glossy, round to slightly flattened fruits weighing approximately 0.7–1.8 oz. The tomatoes begin green with purple-black anthocyanin coloring and ripen to satin pink, rose red, or deep wine red beneath striking indigo-blue shoulders. Greater exposure to direct sunlight generally produces darker blue-purple pigmentation. The thin-skinned, juicy fruits offer an aromatic, fruity flavor with balanced sweetness, pleasant acidity, and subtle spicy notes. Branched trusses may carry 12–15 fruits, supporting a productive harvest over an extended season. Provide sturdy staking or trellising for the tall regular-leaf vines. Excellent for fresh snacking, salads, garnishes, and colorful tomato platters.
