Variety characteristics:

• 355 Dwarf Jackass Yellow is a highly productive midseason dwarf tomato producing smooth to lightly ribbed beefsteak fruits weighing approximately 5.3 to 10.6 oz. The substantial tomatoes mature from pale green to luminous golden yellow and rich yellow orange, occasionally developing a soft amber or muted red blush at full ripeness. The juicy, meaty yellow flesh contains small seed cavities and delivers pronounced sweetness, mild balancing acidity, and a rich fruity flavor with a delicate citrus-like finish. Compact determinate dwarf plants generally reach approximately 2.3 to 3 feet tall and develop sturdy central stems with rugose regular-leaf foliage. The spreading branches can become heavily loaded with fruit, so provide a strong cage or several short stakes even though the plants remain compact. Excellent for fresh slicing, sandwiches, salads, caprese, juice, sauces, roasting, and colorful tomato platters.
